哥倫比亞野生動物保護區安裝淡水設備：解決當地居民用水困境

On the Riohacha peninsula in La Guajira, Colombia, the Los Flamencos Wildlife Sanctuary needed fresh water to accommodate the needs of the indigenous population. In the past they had relied on a well for all of their water, and when the well became contaminated with salt, the local population resorted to having clean water trucked in at a high cost.

Peter Wochele of Trunz, a Spectra partner, collaborated with the National Park services to find a cost effective and sustainable solution to their water shortage. After much discussion, 2 LB-4000’s were installed to purify the well water and provide clean, safe drinking water to the community. The systems are powered by a solar array and provide all  the water required for the people living in the wildlife sanctuary
