When and how to use Micropur Forte:

• Micropur Forte contains a quantitative and stable amount of chloride ions and silver ions. The correct concentration of chlorine can quickly and effectively kill bacteria, viruses and certain protozoa, while the silver ions can prevent stored water from being contaminated again for up to six months.
• Applicable to water purification in water collection tanks. To achieve the best effect, the water storage container must be sealed and avoid direct sunlight.

Restrictions on Use:

• Can only be used on clean water. Turbid water must first be filtered using the Katadyn portable filter system.
• We do not recommend using aluminum containers to store water or dissolving the powder in small amounts of water.

Directions:

• First add the powder into an empty or half-filled container (only clean water), then immediately add the required amount of water into the container, stir and mix evenly to distribute the silver ions evenly, and let it stand for 30 minutes to kill bacteria, viruses and most protozoa.
• It takes 2 hours of standing in cold water (<10°C) to kill protozoa such as Giardia.
