When and how to use Micropur Forte:

• When traveling, the most common way to get sick is by drinking contaminated water. Infectious diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (such as diarrhea, cholera, typhoid, giardiasis, amebiasis, etc.) and liver diseases (such as hepatitis A) are all transmitted by microorganisms in the water. This can happen anywhere, even in water that looks clean, clear and tasteless.
• Micropur Forte contains a constant and measured amount of chloride ions and silver ions. The correct concentration of chlorine can quickly and effectively kill bacteria, viruses and certain protozoa, while the silver ions can prevent water from being re-contaminated for up to six months.
• Applicable to water purification in water collection tanks. To achieve the best effect, the water storage container must be sealed and avoid direct sunlight.

Restrictions on Use:

• Can only be used on clean water. Turbid water must first be filtered using the Katadyn portable filter system.
• We do not recommend using aluminum containers to store water or dissolving the powder in small amounts of water.

Directions:

• Place one tablet of Micropur Forte in 1 liter of water and let it sit for 30 minutes to kill bacteria, viruses and most protozoa.
• The effectiveness of Micropur Forte depends on water quality and temperature. It needs to stand for 2 hours in cold water (<10°C) to kill protozoa such as Giardia.
