Marine Corps Training with the Portable Aquifer

One of our smallest products, the Aquifer portable watermaker, fits compactly in a durable suitcase and is ideal for the military, research expeditions, and disaster relief. The Marine Corps have used the Aquifer 360 to purify brackish river water to supply troops in training exercises in Hawaii.

Marines are able to lighten their load and also reduce cargo shipments that are heavy with potable bottled water. The Aquifer 360 delivers 15 gallons of fresh water an hour, is lightweight enough to be carried by one person, and is built into a durable pelican storm case. The Aquifer is so energy efficient thanks to the Clark Pump that you can add the folding solar panels which allow for complete off-grid application.
